Welcome to Leeming St. John’s EYFS Centre

We are delighted to announce the opening of our brand-new Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Centre for children aged 2-5 years old, launching in September 2026. This development allows us to support children and families from an even earlier stage in their education.

Starting in the new EYFS Centre, creates a smooth and natural transition into Reception. Children will already feel a strong sense of belonging within the school community, allowing them to move forward in their learning with confidence.

The Leeming St. John’s EYFS Centre has been thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, inspiring and nurturing environment where every child can learn, explore and grow with confidence. Rooted in the principles of the EYFS framework, we focus on developing happy, curious learners through play-based, child-led experiences that build strong foundations for lifelong learning.

The EYFS Centre is based on Roman Road, Northallerton, DL7 9SG.

From Year 1 to Year 6, children will be taught in Leeming St. John’s Main Site. This is the former Aiskew, Leeming Bar CE Primary School building. Both sites are on the same road, less than half a mile away from each other.
